Feeling stuck in Lightroom? Here's the roadmap.

Hi Reader,

It's a feeling I know well, and I hear it from other photographers all the time: You open Lightroom and feel unsure where to start... or where to go next.

Lightroom gives us powerful tools, but no real roadmap. For years, I felt a disconnect between the vision in my head and the tools on my screen. You're left jumping between panels, second-guessing adjustments, and wondering if you're actually improving the photo. The process can feel chaotic, especially when the only way to gain control seems to be diving into Photoshop.

Here's the roadmap — free live training

The 7-Step Rethink Workflow
Thursday, August 14th @ 11:00 AM Mountain Time

(Replay available if you can’t make it live, but live is the best way to get your questions answered.)

Join me live as I transform real images from raw file to finished masterpiece using the 7-Step Rethink Workflow. You'll see exactly how this structured system solves the most common editing challenges and gives you the creative control you've been missing, all without ever leaving Lightroom.

Want to follow along during the training?

The live session is built around my Rethink Landscape Toolkit — a structured, 7-step system that brings clarity and control to your workflow.

There's no better way to learn and build muscle memory than by applying the tools alongside me. If you want to follow along, you can grab the complete toolkit now at a special launch price:

(Save $10 off the regular price of $39 — offer ends Sunday, August 17th at midnight.)

I built this to solve the editing problems I struggled with for years, and I can’t wait to see what it does for you.

All the best,
David Kingham

P.S. Not interested in the Toolkit? Click here to opt out of this launch series, you’ll still receive our regular monthly newsletters.

Hi Reader, This has been one of the more challenging months we’ve had in a while, and in its own way, one of the more meaningful. The biggest news at home has been Jennifer’s horse. We discovered a tumor in his sinus that required emergency surgery, and in those first days, we weren’t sure he would make it through. Thankfully, the surgery went far better than we feared. The weeks since have been filled with frequent care, a few scares, and slow but steady progress. He’s now doing very well,...

Hi Reader, April was an incredibly busy month for us, even without a workshop on the calendar. Between launching our 2027 and 2028 workshop schedule, finishing the next issue of Nature Vision Magazine, and continuing to plan the Moab Photography Symposium, it has felt like one of those months where everything was moving at once. We’ll have more symposium news to share soon, including the dates we’ve set for 2027, but for now we’re grateful to have several big pieces starting to come together....

Hi Reader, We hope your spring is off to a good start. Ours has been a bit of a rollercoaster. We were chased out of Death Valley by a heat dome in mid-March and tried heading to Anza-Borrego early, only to find it even warmer. So we took refuge in San Diego for a week, enjoying cooler air, snorkeling, and reconnecting with the ocean. Swimming with sharks and exploring sea caves was incredible, and safe to say, we’re hooked on getting underwater whenever we can. After San Diego, we returned...
